PA Breast Cancer Coalition
AdOne Advertising and Design and Sunbury Community Hospital believe that every month should be breast cancer awareness month. With this in mind the two organizations recently presented a check for $1,500 to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition to fund their advocacy programs. The donation was derived from an ongoing fundraising effort by both groups to help area cancer patients.
“It is important to remember that breast cancer affects the lives of thousands of women throughout the year, not just during the month of October,” explained Greg Underkoffler, president of AdOne Advertising and Design. “We need to honor those who have battled this disease, support the patients and their families and celebrate the survivors every day.”
The PBCC represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants.
